Making 1000 Gold In One Week
Submitted by Boostland on Fri, 2005-12-02 06:10.Getting your epic mount can seem a very hard task when you figure you have to spend 800 gold just for one item, unless you're a warlock or paladin of course , but it's really not.
It's actually much easier than you think, and something that you may actually never have thought of.
I don't remember where I heard this, but it WORKS VERY WELL.
What you want to do is first head to felwood which is east of Darkshore.

The protectors have, according to thottbot, a 3% chance of dropping major healing potions, but I found it to be more in the range of 10%.
On my server (Skullcrusher) one major healing potion sells on the AH for 1g.
In addition to dropping potions, they also drop high-level herbs that can sell on the AH for ~ 10g for a stack of 20.
Another way to make good money......ENGINEERING.
This is actually pretty simple:
High lvl explosives.
People actually buy things such as:
Small Bronze Bomb http://www.thotbott.com/?i=5418 for a good amount of money, way more than the mats cost on the AH.
Also: Heavy Dynamite http://www.thotbott.com/?i=5421
The mats for these are relatively inexpensive, and the bombs and dynamite sell fast! (On my server anyways). People buy the dynamite for extra dps, and the bombs for stunning people.
All you do is buy a stack of 20 wool cloth, which seems to have skyrocketed to about 1g the past couple of months and a stack of 20 stones. Make that blasting powder and enjoy!
You can usually make about a 5-6g profit on the dynamite/bombs after being sold on the AH.

the answer is no, a lvl 31 feral druid will aggro everything in the place and since the deadmines are filled with elites and if you can either heal or bring a crapload of healing potions then the answer is no you cannot solo deadmines.

OMG...if this works i will freaking kill myself....i my friend is gonna start and im a 47 warrior....i like to solo DM for Disenchanting on Alt...but never got a BOE.....ill try a couple more times, then head on over to SM.....

Well im a 51 mage now on rivendare PVP server. Best spot ive found for mages at least is the SM grave yard. Everyone i tell cant belive it but the way the guys are in there u can walk past every1 and go straight for bosses and chest then into the grave yard and slaughter the ghosts only!! with a good mage u can do like 15 ghosts at one time average 1 - 2 silver each plus weapon drops and MAD silk so kill all bosses and chests ghosts then leave reset and do it again doesnt take long to do less than a hour ALL bags should be full with like 30-40 weapons a few being blue and like 7 stacks of silk plus the cash u get from killing them 10 - 15 gold easy each time sell silk in AH undercut price for quick sells i got mount for me and a friend this way in 1 day but beware not to pull to many LOL u will die

most easy way i found so far in making gold is farming deadmines. if your lucky a blue boe will drop and sell for at least 50g as people are rich nowadays twinking characters. took my friend on 3 runs in DM me going round, me killing and him looting 30 mins job per run loads of greens which sell for 1g linen cloth that sells for 30-40s and wool for 70s on my server. lucky it was 3 runs we got a boe blue each time so if u add it up 150g in 3 runs 1.5 hours ininstance. selling the blues and greens we had already made 500g in just 3 runs

the easiest way to make gold fast is to solo an instance and fill up ur bags i still run SM and make over 30g an hours each boss drop goes for 1-2g all the drops of mobs add up to around 10-15g per run im a lvl 70 rogue and i pull in about 13g a run on a average. it takes me under 15 mins to run. times that by 4 and thats about about 52g an hour. this only works if u have all empty slots in ur bags. TRY IT U WILL LOVE IT!

Well i found a way to make 100 gold in 2 days with a lvl 20 warrior, all you need to do is goto arathi highlands and look for a guy north of refuge point. well he has cheese you can buy 5 for 5 silver... Yesterday me and my m8 decided to mess around and try to stealth to ragnaros for fun knowing we would die..., WE MANAGED TO GET ALL THE WAY TO RAGNAROS!
So we amushed him :D
But... he died... dropped 10 epic set items ALL BoE and 5 legendary items !!! 3 daggers and 2 swords !! me and my m8 now own with our weaps and we sold the items all together for over 5K and split the profit :D lol rag was mega bugged

i got more that 1000 gold in 1 week. I also got 2 epic drops while i was doing this. i have done it again and found only 1 epic but still it works.

making money
I found a great way to make money for a 41-60. Go to Lethor Ravine in the Badlands and kill the dragon whelplings. 10% of the time they drop greens and also drop 1-5 silver they are very easy to kill and extremly weak. They are good xp too 171-260 not rested. No one ever goes there except to mine mith so you have it all to your self. Also, 43-45 elite dragons are there that some times drop blues and epics(extremly rare) and 1-12 silver plus they grays both elites a whelplings drop are good sell. I make around 6g an hour for like 6 hours (36g to the slow people) Alright thats my tip and good luck!

Essence of Water
Not trying to be rude, but there's NO WAY you can get 50 Essence of Water an hour!!! I have a 60 level priest and had the whole area to myself a few days for 3-4 hours straight. I killed every Toxic horror that popped and the most I got was maybe 2 an hour. So how many beers did you say you had when you got 50 an hour....lol. Seriously Dude! There's NO WAY you can get 50 an hour!!! It must be a bug in the drop rate!!! Be greatful your on a server with a screwed up drop rate!!
Then again ...maybe it's my server that got the drop rate bug? Or maybe I just need a few alcoholic drinks to help my 2 drops an hour expand to 6-10 drops an hour or more? lol.

there is no way to collect 50 in 1hr but i did personally get 10 essence of water in approximately 1hr.. on my server a stack of ten sells for 70g... so do the math i guess
