BRD Stealth Run
Submitted by Benny on Fri, 2005-11-25 10:54.The best run I have had I got the Fiery Enchant (35g), and the Ace of Elementals (300g+) for about 10 minutes time in the instance. Those prices are on my server.
My main is a rogue so this is written from a rogue point of view, but maybe you could do it with a druid?
Follow the steps to solo Plugger for the Barman Shanker.
The only variation on a Plugger (barman shanker) run is right after the Shadowforge lock. Go up the ramp and then go straight up the second ramp and cross the Ring of Law. You can pickpocket these guys for about 3-4s each if you feel like it. Free money. After crossing, go immediately to your right and see if Pyromancer Loregrain is there.
If he is, kill him. You need to kill him first, if you kill his adds and vanish, they spawn right back. I sap one, then ambush Pyromancer. I eviscerate immediately so that I don’t waste combo points. Then I blind the second add. It will depend on your set up, but I can blade flurry to do them both if I need to. I generally have to use evasion for this fight. I use Instant poison and Mind Numbing. I vanish after the boss and then the two adds are simple by themselves with a sap. I often need a single heal potion for this one.
He has been spawning pretty frequently for me (1 in 3?), and he drops the Fiery Enchant about 30% of the time. Thottbot probably says different, but those are my estimates based on my running it.
Go back through the Ring of Law and continue with the Plugger run. May as well kill him since he is easy, and then the door will open for you to get to Lord Incendius. I recommend killing the little gnomes in the room with the golems too (can't recall name of the room, manufactory?). The gnomes have been known to drop Black Diamonds.
After killing plugger, go out the door and drop down to Incendius’ level. Avoid the elementals with him.
Poisons don’t work so I use Dense Sharpening stones. I have to drink a greater fire resist potion and put on all of my fire resist gear (I am at 127fr). I am far from “epic’d out”. He kicks you, and the lava is death so line up well and go for it. I open with distract and ambush. I have to use my prep for this fight, and both evasions. I have not had to use thistle tea (I trashed the recipe, just got it back) but I am going to start using it. I also end up using my lifestone, whipper root tubers, and a heal potion. I recently added crystal restores, and night dragon’s breath so I am hoping it gets easier.
No lie…it is a tough fight. With the new items I added I think it will go easier but it can be done. The Ace is a pretty rare drop, but a damn nice prize:)
It is fun as hell and gives a nice feeling of accomplishment…and “it’s a rogue thing” which rocks.
Variations
A short cut to Incendius does not require you to open the shadowforge lock. You jump out the window right before it, drop to the walkway, and can go straight to him.
You can also solo the rock lord in the first area. Time the dogs as they are death to stealthers. He hasn’t dropped much worthwhile for me though:(
The bad news
Getting out alive is a PAIN, so I usually hearth from there. The damn dogs are just a nightmare on the way out.
Resetting Instance is easy
Reseting instance is easy for a two man party.
This is what you do. Once you're finish farming and want to reset it. You need not run back all the way nor hearth. All you need to do is ...
1) pass the party leadership to your friend (if you're the leader)
2) Quit the party meaning you're still in the instance (safe place) you leave the party.
3) Log off immediately right after leaving party. you will log off in 20 seconds while the timer for hearth is ticking.
4) Log back in the game and you are at the instance door.
5) PST your friend to invite you back to the party.
6) Rinse and repeat with your friend.
Most importantly, remember to walk out of the instance together so you can reset it. :D

I have recently also started
I have recently also started farming BRD, but my strat is diffrent. I start goin left ,when entering the instance. The mobs there are in sets of 5 so you can walk up to them in a row and PP real fast,(i Pp naked so if they resist it I wont have a repair bill later) Off them you can get 3-5 silver, locked boxes, food, and Hickory pipes LOOT EVERYTHING THAT YOU CAN GET!! After you get done with that head to the bar. The bar is a gold mine the mobs there are neutral so you can pp them really fast and dont have to worry about pulling agro, unless they resist the Pp. AFter that go to the bartender and sell all the stuff that you looted so far. Usually in that kind of run I end up with 4-5g in 15m.
I also do the bartender boss,and the pyromancer which drops some nice blues which you can vendor for a nice price.

I have just tried incendius 3 times...
I am 21/5/25 CB + Prep build
I wield brutality blade and ravenholdt slicer
I am rank 9 pvp and have the according pvp set items
Trinkets include heroism card +random
I quaff 1 greater fire res at entrance... and quaffed 1 more in fight... but he just kicks the ballocks out of me.
Any suggestions ?
60 hunter here, i tried to
60 hunter here, i tried to solo this boss. I am Marksman specced and had my multi purpose pet with me so i wasnt able to do it. I thikn that if i get a tanking pet and spec super pet i should be able to do it, but apparently you can now no longer solo this boss. Somebody said he now has a spell that reduce ur fire resist. can anyone please verify?
Dont burn up all those items.
Dont worry about tubers, crystal restores, or heal potions. Just use two Greater Fire resistance potions, mats are one elemental fire, and one dreamfoil VERY cheap mats. I am soloing him without CB and prep, I will probably respec while I am farming as the CB prep build seems to be the best way to solo the bosses. Also, use the standard reset techinique rather then running out of the instance. Invite someone to form a party. Promote them to leader. Drop group and quickly logout. When you log back in you will be at the beginning of the instance (which is not YOUR instance, you promoted the other person) so leave and re-enter. Instance will be reset.

I do it often, me and my cousin. Im a warrior and he is a shaman. pretty good drops (fr wise) we set our hearth in kargeth and are usually able to reset it a good number of times in one hour. No ace though yet :(

Paladins too
A lvl 60 paladin with decent FR gear and a little bit of skill can solo Incendius too. I imagine most classes can do it, but there may be exceptions.
Simply open all of the shadowforge doors (don't bother with the gate mechanism) and then bonzai down the hallway, using a bubble if necessary, and bail out the first window. Don't go too far or you'll end up in the lava. Drop down onto the ramp and skirt the patrol. If you walk down the center of the hallway you can skip all of the fire elemental guards except the last two, which you must solo... this is actually the hardest part.
After that, aggro Incendius and pull him into the hall, judge wisdom and hack away. Make sure that when he does his knockback move, that you have your back to/near a wall, or you'll get tossed into the lava or the fireguards you skipped. Pretty easy fight really. Afterwards, put all your repairable gear in your bag and jump into the lava. Run back as a ghost, have a friend join your group and then leave it, and you're good to run it again. I manage to do the whole thing about every 15 minutes.
