Devilsaur Farming

First of all tune your hearth stone into an area that has a horde/alliance auction house. Then fly to Gadgetzan, Tanaris then fly to Cenarion Hold. Then walk to the back of Un'Goro Crater.
There you can do two things, either farm for Rugged Leather off all the beasts there.
Or my favorite the Devilsaur-with the Devilsaur you can sell here skin in stacks of 10 and make a large sum of money.
Usually I can sell a stack of 10 for about 30-40g and it takes me an hour to an hour and a half.
There is 6 Devilsaur spawn points, you must look at there patrol paths.
Once you have done this a few times you remeber where they spawn and usually after you kill all four of them another one spawns and the cycle just keeps going.
Personally I solo these guys with my 60 Hunter considering they are lvl 52-56 elites.
You must be a skinner, and you must do enough dps fast enough not to die, or have enough armor so you deal dps slower yet stay alive.
In less than a week I have made over 1500g. So I hope this helps, and if it does could you please reply back if you need any additional info or if you are stumped on something!

I have killed all types of the devilsaur except king mosh and received devilsaur leather for skinning, but have yet to receive a green or better as a drop, the last one I killed dropped a pristine raptor skull. I was under the impression that the loot types from elites were always better than a normal mob, by the looks of things I have a greater chance of getting a green or better from normals than I do on elites.
Also would root/starfire combo work well on the stone guardians wandering around or perhaps get a friend to help? lvl 60 feral druid btw

I just got here as lvl 60 hunter.... the farming is great thx.
One question though.
But it's possible to solo them as lvl 60 shadowpriest?
They got low armor, and the shield doesn't absorb that much dmg. Pherpas they won't attrack other mobs if you fear them..

"Younger" hunters may find
"Younger" hunters may find it difficult to solo the Tyrant version because of their AOE fear ability. The plain "Devilsaur" and "Ironhide Devilsaur" are much easier to solo as a hunter.
Druid and Devilsaur
I take out devilsaur's very quickly and easily as a Druid using sleep/starfire combo. I generally dont even get hit once. Takes three to five minutes.

I have done this in the past and devilsaurs are a good thing to farm as a skinner/LW.
Im a lvl60 druid and its not hard to kill them using root/starfire/wrath/root combos.
Sleep also works if you need time to regen.
The only problem with these is their large patrol paths and the amount of other mobs in these areas. Also Ungoro crater isnt the most accesible place to get to...
give it a FP already lol.
Others things to farm here while youre at it: Stone Guardians, living blazes/elementals, tar creatures.
(guardian stones, hearts of fire/essences, living essences)
