Icy Chill Enchant Farming
Submitted by Deus Sceleris on Fri, 2005-09-23 00:34.Its nothing too "secret," but if you don't know this, it may prove to be helpful to gain a quick daily 10-15 gold. The reccomended level would be 55-60. At 55-58, this is even a good grind spot, as the mobs are easy to kill.

for an Icy Chill enchant formula. They sell generally about for 10-15 gold on servers, and I just sell them for about 13 gold every day. I can get one of these anywhere from 5-25 minutes of killing them, even when there are 4 other people killing them. Although there arent many mobs to go around, they respawn very fast, and have proven to be a great spot to grind. I have found that after I get the formula, I have a much harder time finding another one, so just do it daily / once every 10 hours or so, and I think you will like the outcome!

I tried this out on August 23, 2007 with a level 61 warrior. It still works great. In the first 15 minutes I got 3 Icy Chill drops. However, I did not get anymore for the rest of the hour. (who cares! - 3 in an hour). I was grinding both the anguished and suffering highborns. I also had several greens drop and a thorium lockbox. I mined thorium in the area and received a ton of runecloth. The grays that dropped were were 50-75S to vendors. Also, I picked up two solid chests at 55,44 near a PVP Mob called remorseful highborn.
I stopped working on the suffering highborns and focused solely on anguished in the hopes of getting another icy drop but no luck. 2 of my 4 greens dropped off the suffering highborns. I had 4G in straight loot off the mobs as well. All in all a great bit of grinding and I was getting approximately 500Xp per kill (rested). I tried this with level 58 outland mobs and didn't have near the success. I had minimal downtime with this method

went there last night and 2 dropped in less than 10 minutes of grinding and runecloth dropped everytime also got 4g worth of coin off them and dinged lvl 57

By the way, i see many chinese trainers here. so it is apparently a good spot to grind

i have grinded this area so many times without any icy enchants dropping. The anguished highbornes just dont drop it i dont understand

Yeah got 1 formula in the
Yeah got 1 formula in the first hour I went here (and hit 56 too) when I got close to 57 I went back and in 1 hour or so didnt get a drop, but with the 600xp+ (rested) xp easily grinded to 57 and still got hella runecloth and 5-7s per kill. Have a few guildmates trying this spot out too and no complaints so far.
