DPS to armor ratio

Ok first off this is my first time in Forums if im in the wrong place please correct me and tell me where to go thank you ^_^

Im a Warrior and ive become very confused i want to learn how to tell how much armor negates every o.1 dps or 1 dps or some followable formula so i can determine the true value of armor.
