Easy Way To Get Hard To Tame Animals.
Submitted by Sickmate on Fri, 2006-01-06 00:58.Figured this out last night. I'm a mage and my hunter friend was trying to get a pet from the temple. He couldn't get it cause it kept interrupting him.
Using polymorph though he was able to easliy tame the creature without danger of being interrupted. Just have the mage poly the creature and go to town making your cute little hearts and getting your pet.
Also if you're having problems and dont have the assistance of a mage, pull the creature into a freezing trap to buy yourself a little more time.

Yea when you taming a pet do not have aspect of the monkey activated. Dodges,Parries, or blocking will cancel the tame and thus ruin your life.
Taming is easy
Hunters should never have a problem taming. I can tame any beast with a freeze trap in place. As soon as the beast is tame the freeze trap breaks and you're on your way. this even works on elites.

Hunter + new pet = drop
Hunter + new pet = drop freezing trap and tame pet into trap. Done, dusted and easy.

as a hunter put on green welp armor has a chance for mobs who strike you to fall asleep then place freezin trap wallah they freeze tame then they awake then hit you and fall asleep and by this time they are yours.
