Double your WoW Gold (known as duping)
GM Dupe
Submitted by Benny on Mon, 2005-12-12 03:36I recently just duped about a 1000 Gold, and this is how you do it, I'm warning you now though, its not easy and only do it once..
Ok what you do is on your account you vendor all your gear, and send all your gold to your friend, then log off and delete your character. Then maybe about one hour later you go on a level 1 character and page a GM saying that you got in a fight with your brother, and he went on your character and deleted it. Give them about 8 hours, and they will restore your character back with all your gold, funny thing is they don’t take away the gold you sent to your friend.
Instance Dupe
Submitted by Sickmate on Wed, 2005-10-12 04:24More often than not, possibly wont work, nevertheless once these instance servers are certainly bugged then trade your items or gold to somebody then quickly enter the instance that are certainly bugged, such as the loading bar does not load) roughly a minute after, your character will be kicked out of the instance loading screen and roll your character back until earlier you walked into instance.
Lag Cheat
Submitted by GUnit on Sat, 2005-10-08 03:21Go to a vendor who sales limited objects (patterns or what ever). Raise up your ping to 180-210 (or maybe higher), by downloading some, or run a program. Buyout the limited objects down to 1 and than right click on the item as fast as you can.
You have a chance of 90 %, that you get the item 2 times, paying only one. This chance is given, too, if the vendor has only 1 of them at the beginning.
Alterac Valley Dupe
Submitted by RiotousMind on Tue, 2005-07-12 04:35Here is a nifty little bug that I and a few guild mates figured out.
We have tried this outside of AV and so far haven’t worked
But inside Alterac Valley battlegrounds.
If a priest mind controls a player, cancels the mind control, and another priest mind controls the player again. While that priest is mind controlling, the other priest opens a trade dialog with the priest doing the mind control. normally this would result in a "player is busy" message. But not so while the trade window is open, trade X gold to the priest mind controlling the opposing player. Complete the trade. Cancel the mind control. Now the priest that was mind controlling has X more gold added to their stockpile, while priest who initiated and traded the gold...LOST NONE!
Renaming Dupe
Submitted by Esky on Thu, 2005-07-07 04:41I created character with a name that violated Blizzard's TOS, as it was rude and referred to human anatomy. Somebody complained regarding my name and a Blizzard GM whispered me. He told me it was against the TOS, and next time I log on, it will ask me to rename my name. I agreed and requested five minutes to get to a safe spot to log out. I made my way to a safe spot (had to use a potion to not die) then logged out. When I logged back in, I was prompted to change my character name. Once that was done, when I came back into the world, my character was rolled back about 5 minutes, before I started heading toward a safe spot to log out. Everything was rolled back: my EXP, position, and items (my potion came back). All I got was a little email from the GM saying "don't make vulgar names"... pretty much.
