Instance Dupe

so say i traded my friend 1 gold run in and run in and run back [without lag would it still work]

I did this with my friend and he got the 10g i gave him then when i came out i had only 10g even though i had 50g and only gave him 10g. :( Stupid instance dupe. :(

I think you can do the same thing by pulling your connection before the transaction is complete as an alternative to the instance thing if it is not working.

if, as the original poster of this dupe pointed out, it's best if both you and your friend have huge lag. easy to maintain shitload of lag if you just select some stupid movie on limewire and DL that for a while while you try this. if you've evar traded with lag you've noticed that it takes well over 10 seconds sometimes after both players have accepted Trade. so then u run into instance when both halves of trade are green and waiting to xfer the stuff. if it works you'll have the gold you 'gave' to him, and so will he. this would probably work with items too, tho not sure if it'd work both ways, not that there'd be much of a point in doing it with gold, but items...

when ever i do it with my friend he has gold and i do but when i close and open my bag it dissapears is there something im doing wrong??????

look, it makes perfect sense. ur friends system is not reset while yours is there by doubling the gold if you were quick enough to get into the instance in time.--works in deadmines only place i tried it.

this is a simple thing to do, raise lag.... tradegold/items BOTH click trade button and while the windows are BOTH green(that is the lagg taking over) you runin the instance and then back out

Ok so i get the hole trade your freind some gold an jump into an instance thing but what i do not get is how to bug the instance. Run in and out of it really fast? I have been doing that for almost an hour now.

Is there a way to tell before hand if an instance is bugged? Or is this entire dupe based simply on guess and check principles?

Okay, think about this like a computer, not like real life. In real life when you give someone something they have it, end of story, no hiddly-winks about it. You have to understand that for a single instant in the game you BOTH have the item that you're trading (best for you both to have lag, so the server doesn't get all the info so you both have it for a split second.) What happens is you and your friend are standing right in front of the instance. You trade and run foreward before the trade window closes, then you run back out as soon as it loads, and BOOM, the game resets you to how you were when you first entered, but when you first entered it was telling the server to send your friend gold -- well it isn't going to take your gold until it's been confirmed. The command has already been sent, however, so your friend gets the gold, and you keep yours too! Make more sense? No? Ah well, you're probably stupid then.

You give all your gold to your friend as fast as you can so that you have time to Lagg out in the instances so when you come back on it will reset you with the gold that you had all ready givin to your friend

it resets you to about a min before you entered the inst so if your not quick about jumping in the buged inst you will not get the money doubled but if you are it will double and double over and over again in till your the brother the person your giveing the money thinks it will be funny not to give it back...punk

If it really is bugged, you get back the gold you had before you gave it to your friend, and then get your friend to give you back the gold you traded to him, thereby doubling your money. If the instance is not bugged, you are restored to the state in which you entered the instance.

I dont understand how can you have all that money if it resests you like you were before you go in the instance? Because if when you go in the instance you have no gold becasue you gave it all to your friend.
